Milestone Masters Pediatric Therapy

My family had the pleasure of working with Mrs. Lyons over 4 years, from the time my son was 2 until he was 6. When we started speech therapy, my son could not say any words clearly. Mrs. Lyons listened to our concerns, made helpful recommendations, adjusted strategies as needed, and coordinated our son’s care with other specialists (such as ENT) to find the best solutions for his needs. By the time we finished speech therapy, my son had caught up to age-appropriate speech development. Everyone was able to understand him clearly, and he could pronounce all of his sounds correctly. We were so very pleased with the progress he made with Mrs. Lyons. It was worth all of the time and effort to see such a dramatic transformation in our son. I cannot recommend Mrs. Lyons highly enough. She is a caring professional who has a gift for working with children and is able to achieve demonstrable results.

When we first embarked on this journey for our son, we were filled with anxiety and concern. Mrs. Lyons’ warm and empathetic approach instantly put us at ease. She took the time to thoroughly assess our son’s needs and create a plan that addressed his specific challenges while considering his unique personality and interests. These past four short months with our son seeing Lauren have been nothing short of transformative. His confidence in speaking has grown leaps and bounds, and he now communicates with greater clarity and fluency. Lauren’s creative and engaging methods made learning enjoyable for him, turning each session into a fun adventure. As parents, we couldn’t be prouder of our son’s growth, and we attribute much of it to Lauren’s extraordinary skills as a speech therapist. She has not only helped him overcome speech challenges but has also equipped him with essential skills for a lifetime of effective communication. We look forward to continuing this incredible journey with her.

Ms. Lauren has been a breath of fresh air in helping our daughter, Charlotte. After spending a year with another program and seeing no progress we made the switch to Ms. Lauren and have never looked back. Charlotte looks forward to her sessions and her articulation has improved so much in the short time that we have been doing weekly sessions. Ms. Lauren combines fun activities with the speech therapy which keeps my busy toddler engaged. Our family has commented multiple times on the improvement they have seen and how much they now can understand Charlotte. Ms. Lauren is a 10/10 I would highly recommend if considering speech for your child.

We have had a wonderful experience working with Mrs. Lyons. Our son has significant language delays, but Lauren’s knowledgeable and supportive approach put us at ease from the start. He loves going to speech and in just a few months has already increased his use of functional language. I also really value that Lauren takes the time to give us guidance as parents on strategies we can incorporate at home to continue encouraging his speech development. Both of our daughters started speech therapy at the beginning of this school year with Lauren at Milestone Masters. Lauren is an expert speech and language pathologist who has made this entire process very easy for us as a family. She is extraordinarily professional and organized, warm and caring, and up to date with the latest research and treatments. She helped us to navigate the “business” side of therapy treatment- billing, etc. and goes out of her way to make sure there is always clear and helpful communication between Milestone Masters and our family. She makes speech therapy fun and my daughters are always excited for their sessions with Lauren. The initial evaluations were thorough and the goals set for my kids were perfectly in line with their needs and matched my concerns as a parent. My daughters both have differing needs, but she is skilled at assessing individual needs and customizing treatments accordingly. Her approach with the kids is attentive, empathetic, and kind, which helps motivate them to be engaged and to learn. I highly recommend Lauren and Milestone Masters – they are absolutely the best!

We love working with Milestone Masters Pediatric Therapy. My 9 year old son could not say the “r” or “L” in the majority of his words. She met with my son once a week for 5 months, through games, reading and activities that helped him learn how to pronounce correctly. He loved working with Mrs. Lyons and at one point did not ever want to stop meeting with her because he loved it so much. As a parent, she has great communication, concrete manageable work for us to do at home and is a great encourager. We highly recommend Milestone Masters Pediatric Therapy, we saw changes right away that have continued to grow and become part of his fluent language.

We fortuitously met Ms. Lauren during a play-based speech development class in the community and I saw my daughter immediately open up and engage in a way we hadn’t previous seen. We began working together when my daughter was a little over a year old and she has made significant strides in both her receptive and expressive speech from that first meeting. Ms. Lauren naturally connects so well with my toddler, and continually impresses me with her desire to pinpoint why my child may have her specific delays. Ms. Lauren proactively suggests new techniques and strategies to adapt to my daughter’s progress or lack thereof in certain areas, and I am frequently amazed at the depth of her toolbox! This tailored, iterative approach to therapy vs. a cookie cutter approach reinforces the fact that my daughter is in very good hands!
