Our Story
Lauren and Carrie first met while Lauren was completing her Master’s degree in Communication Disorders at the University of Virginia. Lauren completed her final externship placement at Carrie’s previous multidisciplinary pediatric therapy company. After a positive and enriching experience working there, Lauren accepted a job to complete her clinical fellowship at the same company with Carrie as her supervisor. During this fellowship year and several years to follow, Lauren and Carrie bonded over similar interests in specific treatment areas, as well as through a passion for continual assessment of each patient on a global level to best meet their overall needs.
After several years of movement as their careers and family lives evolved, Lauren and Carrie decided to come together to form their own company. Based on the passion for patient care that they share, as well as a mutual desire to deliver the highest quality child-centered and family-focused therapy, Milestone Masters Pediatric Therapy, Inc., was created.
