    • Ask them to describe the glue, explore it and talk about it!
      • Is it drippy? Wet? Dry? Gooey?
      • What color is it?
      • Do you like the way it smells?
      • Do you like the way it feels on your fingers?

    • Have them help you, label “scoop and dump” with each one
  5. Stir thoroughly with each tablespoon of starch
    • Label stirring action
    • Have them follow directions to do it themselves
  6. Continue to add starch until the slime is not sticking to the bowl and forms a clump in the middle
    • Talk about the texture with your child, have them help decide when it is time for more
  7. Knead and stretch with hands to finish completely mixing
    • Describe how it feels on your/their hands
  8. Once smooth, stretchy, and uniform throughout, it is complete!
    • Describe the texture
    • How does it feel?
  9. Play with your slime!
